Samantha is the Cyber Protect Officer for Leicestershire Police and is responsible for raising awareness of Cyber Crime and educating on the steps that can be taken to mitigate the risks.
Her background is 14 years working in Crime Prevention previously for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Police.
With one in five businesses having fallen victim to Cyber Crime in the last 12 months according to a survey by the British Chamber of Commerce, there has never been a better time to find out more about Cyber Crime, the latest threats and what you can do to protect your business.
With input on types of issues businesses need to be on the lookout for and training staff to look for, phishing emails, ransomware, CEO fraud, invoice redirection fraud, passwords etc. – and some general input on steps we can all take to stay safe online.
The seminar is aimed at Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) with between 5 – 249 staff and is for management rather than technical people.
